Part Four: A World Citizenship
At the University of Houston- Clear Lake I give back the experiences of living in countries of Europe, Asia, Central America and the Middle East through international experiential programs. My attraction to powerful men serves me well. Without hesitation and firmly standing in the adult-self now, I create relationships with leaders of various countries in Houston, the nation and the world. In “Voices of Iraq” I share from my experience of living in Iraq when the war starts. A shift in seeing people living in different countries occurs in my life. I see them not as different tribes from various nations, but part of the human race. I am recognizing love and tolerance as necessary ingredients to get along. The indigenous teaching of allowing things to happen and not to judge creates space for each person’s and nation’s unfolding lest they harm humanity as a whole. Karma unmasks the notion of cause and effect and enhances my life with a believing in myself. I discovered Oneness; a new world and experience. What do I make of it?
